Book Synopsis:

Tag and Elefant are two brothers who live in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Over dinner, they hear the Secret Elephant trumpeting again, and decide to venture outside to find this elusive creature. Sweetly cosmopolitan, they proceed to search both the house and the big city before discovering the truth...

About the author:

Isabelle Garbani is a Bay Ridge, Brooklyn artist. She received an an MFA in sculpture from the New York Academy of Art in 2004. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently in Sculpture and Object XX in Bratislava, Slovakia. You can see her work at www.IsabelleGarbani.com

This story is inspired by the birth of her partner's nephew and their attempt to find a toy for him. This is her first children's book project.
